Scan de Soleil is a software utility for VME- and SPARC-basedworkstations. With it, users can scan color and gray images with theSharp JX-300, JX-320, JX-450, and JX-600 Color Scanners. A prescanfunction presents a quick scanned image on the screen, permitting usersto select the image area for final scanning. Users can easily controlresolution, gamma correction, scan mode, and scan speed; scanned imagescan be saved in Sun raster 8 or 24, or TGA file formats for import intoapplications that perform image color adjustment, pixel editing, andprinting.Scan de Soleil operates under SunView on 8-bit or 24-bit Frame Buffers.With Scan de Soleil, users have full control over scanning, includingthese features:- Previewing of images on Scan Bed.
- Resolutions from 30 to 300 dots per inch (600 dpi on JX-320 and JX-
